Fred Frederick opened Fred Frederick Chrysler Plymouth on Route 1 in historic Laurel, Maryland in 1959. The garage is housed in what was the only service station between Baltimore and Washington in 1909. The building was a blacksmith shop in the very early 1900’s Through many years of growing the business, Mr. Frederick was also involved in numerous civic activities. His commitment to customer service, his community, and the business earned him the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award. Mr. Frederick also served on served 42 years on the national dealer council and served as its chairman. Fred Frederick Chrysler was founded on the idea, treat all others as we would like to be treated, check the rest then enjoy the best - PRICE & SERVICE.
Mr. Frederick has a daughter and three sons who have been devoted to the success of the business. In 1995, they opened Fred Frederick Chrysler Jeep on Route 50 in Easton, Maryland. In 2001, they acquired Dodge cars and trucks at that same location. In 2009, Dodge, Jeep and Ram were added to the Laurel location.
